There’s exciting new technologies being developed every day in terms of more sustainable materials, processes, and finishes, but what we really love seeing is better design of our urban spaces. We’re seeing such inspiring integration of nature in the built environment; more greenery, better water management and a greater emphasis on protecting our wildlife and natural resources.
There are definitely things we can do as designers of urban furniture and structures that contribute towards more sustainable outcomes. But at times it’s limiting as to what impact can be made on what is a relatively small scale.
Through these collaborations we can then start to have an impact on a larger scale.
Luckily for us we get to work closely alongside some of the world’s best Architects and Landscape Architects. Through these collaborations we can then start to have an impact on a larger scale. The more appealing and well designed a space can be, the more sought after these types of spaces in our community become. That then creates the drive for bigger and better projects that give back, rather than take, from the world we all live in.
