These have included working with indigenous manufacturers in remote communities as well as a number of indigenous learning centres at Universities around the country. We’re always fascinated to learn new things from each project we work on and always seek out the local cultural cues that we can integrate into our designs.

There is a mutual respect, understanding, and value in these working relationships. The ongoing connections present some of the most exciting opportunities for Outside Assembly in the future. We know that many of our peers in the industry share this same mentality. This common belief is especially important at a time in our country’s history with genuine steps being taken towards reconciliation and recognition of our local indigenous heritage.
